She joined The Buckhead Community Bank in 2003 to create a state of the art entity to serve the Private Banking needs of individuals, small and large businesses as well as entrepreneurs and organizations.

“Our goal was to redefine Private Banking in Atlanta by creating more competitive benefits than any other community or large bank in Atlanta,” states Marvin Cosgray, President and CEO. “Donna Kain is the leader we chose to create the department and to develop the finest Private Banking team anywhere.”

Ms. Kain has been in the Private Banking industry for over 25 years and is recognized as an innovative and invaluable financial partner to many Private Banking clients, many of whom joined her at
The Buckhead Community Bank when she
was chosen to head the division.

Her responsibilities include managing and mentoring the Private and Entrepreneurial Bankers, managing portfolios of selected clients and partnering with key specialists in the bank and investment areas to ensure superior performance for all clients.

Ms. Kain is invested in the community and frequently a featured speaker and writer on topics related to entrepreneurship and small business growth. In 2006 she served as the President of the Buckhead Business Association, she continues to support the BBA as a Board Member and Past President. She is an active supporter of The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and co-founder of ThePowerOfWomenandMoney.com. She currently serves on the Board of Heart of Hope Academy, she is a member of The Buckhead Club where she is on the membership committee, she is a member of the Luxury Marketing Council of Atlanta and Berkeley Hills Country Club. She serves on the Presidents Council of The Atlanta History Center and the community advisory board for the Gender and Women’s Studies program at Kennesaw State University.

Jacqueline (Jacki) Watson

Ms. Watson is very well known and respected in the Atlanta financial community. She has a devout following of clients that are pleased that she joined The Buckhead Community Bank, where she can continue to deliver exemplary service.

She attended the University of Tennessee Tech and took business courses at Emory University and Georgia State University. She holds a Georgia Real Estate license, is a lifetime member of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and is actively involved with the Southern Center for International Studies.

In her free time, Ms. Watson enjoys reading to children at the local elementary school and volunteering for the Ashford Park Homeowners Association. She is an avid and passionate collector of Folk Art and enjoys searching for treasures for her large collection.

Ms. Watson and her husband have homes in Atlanta and Toccoa, Georgia. Her daughter and son in law reside in Jacksonville, Florida.

 

Phyllis Murdock

Ms. Murdock has extensive international and regional experience in banking. After graduating from Ohio State University, she joined The Bank of Brussels in Brussels Belgium.

Upon returning to stateside, she joined the Client Services Division of the Fifth Third Bank in southern Ohio. She also gained experience in commercial lending while employed by Manufacturers Hanover Trust in New York City.

Before she joined The Buckhead Community Bank, Ms. Murdock successfully banked small to medium sized businesses and high net worth individuals in the Brookhaven/Buckhead area. She specializes in providing innovative solutions for her clients, from lines of credit for working capital to asset based lending, to sweep accounts for greater return.

Ms. Murdock is married with three daughters; she is a member of the Atlanta Women’s Network and serves on the Board of Directors for The Foundation for Medically Fragile Children. She enjoys skiing and playing tennis and is an original member of the NorthPoint Community Church.

Tripper Mansfield

Mr. Mansfield, a native Atlantan, joined The Buckhead Community Bank team because he was interested in bringing true service and excellence back to banking in his hometown.

His banking experience previously includes a large Southeast based institution where he handled Private Banking clients with dedication and innovation.

Mr. Mansfield majored in managerial economics and graduated from Hampden- Sydney College in Virginia. He then went on to receive an M.B.A. with honors from Atlanta based Oglethorpe University.

Community involvement is important in Mr. Mansfield’s life and includes serving as President Elect (2004-2005) of the Buckhead Kiwanis Club. He is also a member of The Northside United Methodist Church Council. He enjoys volunteering once a month at the Ronald McDonald House for dinner preparation and working at The Children’s Mission in downtown Atlanta.

Mr. Mansfield’s favorite activities include fishing, golfing, bowling and water sports.

James Parker

Mr. James Parker has over 22 years of banking experience and is recognized as a creative and resourceful financial partner. He understands that all financial situations are different and uses his expertise to create unique solutions for his clients. Before joining The Buckhead Community Bank team, he was affiliated with a major banking and brokerage institution in the Southeast. His clients included high net worth individuals, professionals and small to medium business owners.

Mr. Parker graduated from Central Texas College where he majored in Applied Sciences. He holds several securities licenses along with a certified para-planner certificate.

He has a strong and personal interest in historical preservation, urban development and the Arts. He is a foundation member of The Historic Oakland Cemetery, The Grant Park Conservatory and The High Museum.

Charron Hope

After 20 years with a large national bank, Ms. Charron Hope joined The Buckhead Community Bank in order to provide affluent customers with the extraordinary service they deserve and expect. Ms. Hope enjoys customizing financial solutions based on individual client needs. She understands the importance to detail and follows through to the finish. Ms. Hope received a Series 6 and Series 63 Securities License. She is a registered Paraplanner, which brings value to the overall financial situation of her clients.

Ms. Hope moved from her hometown of Thomasville, Georgia to Atlanta after spending several years in Tallahassee, Florida. She was a member of the Buckhead Breakfast Kiwanis Club where she served as Secretary.

Ms. Hope and her husband have homes in Atlanta and Blue Ridge, Georgia. Together, they enjoy reading, hiking, canoeing and white-water rafting.

Cecilia Crutchfield

Ms. Cecilia Crutchfield has worked in the banking industry for more than 20 years. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Cecilia joined The Buckhead Community Bank in November of 2005. Her previous banking experience includes private wealth management for a large southeast national bank where she held the title of Vice President. She was also a national bank examiner for the Comptroller of the Currency for the United States Department of Treasury. She holds a BBA degree in Finance from Dillard University, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Ms. Crutchfield proudly offers her expertise to community banking. She enjoys working closely with clients to understand their needs, adds value to their banking relationships and delivers a personalized approach to help them meet their financial goals. She believes these concepts form the foundation for traditional community banking services.

Ms. Tilinski joins the Private and Entrepreneurial Banking Division of the Buckhead Community Bank with 10 years in the financial services industry. Formerly a Business Development Advisor with Promontory Interfinancial Network, Ms. Tilinski worked with a wide network of regional and community banks in the South Eastern U.S., and recognized the significant value that locally owned and managed financial institutions bring to their customers. Ms Tilinski shares the philosophy of the Buckhead Community Bank and its commitment to serve the local market while delivering unsurpassed attention to detail and customer care. Her focus includes working with non-profit and foundation organizations, associations and small to mid-sized business clients to support their deposit and cash management needs.

Ms. Tilinski is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a B.A. degree in Economics, and completed the M.B.A. program at American University in Washington, D.C. Ms. Tilinski’s credentials include Series 7 and Series 63 Securities Licenses.

In addition to spending time with her husband and two children, Ms. Tilinski supports the mission of local cultural and arts organizations, including serving as an Advisory Board Member of the Brookhaven Arts Alliance and as a member volunteer of Roswell Arts Renaissance(RoAR).
